In this module, you’ll learn how to sort through and find the right tool for the job. Since everyone works differently, not every tool is going to be right for you. That’s okay.
These tools basically break down to how much control you want versus how simple you want them to be. More control (or in other words, more options) means that you sacrifice simplicity. Ease of use is an important factor to many but it comes at the cost of giving up varying degrees of control.
So I’ve put together the top 3 tools I recommend in order of highest level of control/complexity to lowest level of control/complexity.
- Adobe Photoshop: Highest level of control, highest degree of complexity and biggest learning curve for most.
- Canva: Less control, but much easier to use and a moderately low learning curve.
- Adobe Spark: Very little control resulting in the highest degree of simplicity and lowest learning curve.
I’ve also included a lesson that includes a few extra tools I recommend if the previous three don’t quite fit what you’re looking for.
